Marin has been such a perfect place for us to make a life. We are constantly enjoying the open space trails, the gorgeous lakes and beaches, and every charming town offering unique shops and outstanding restaurants. It is wonderful to have San Francisco so close, the wine country just minutes to the north, and Carmel, Mendocino, and Tahoe all within a three-hour drive. It is hard to top this area with so much protected open space and water shed land, and its unique landscape and architecture.

My favorite ways to spend time off are hiking with my dogs, writing fiction, reading, cooking, paddling the rivers, painting, enjoying films and comedy, and spending time with my husband and our friends.  And always anything involving a beach!
